Sporting Clays had its origins in the United Kingdom more than 60 years ago where it was first developed as a teaching and practice layout for developing wings shooting skills  .Introduced to the United States in the early 1980's, Sporting Clays is the fastest growing of all the shotgun sports.

A shooter aiming at a crossing clay target.

Sporting Clays is an exciting clay target game that simulates actual field hunting. The lure of the game lies in its realism. On a Sporting Clays course, shooters are presented with a wide variety of targets that duplicate the flight path of game birds, such as flushing, climbing, crossing, incoming and other angling shots.

Our Course is laid out in natural surroundings and includes 10 shooting stations with shooters moving from one station to the next to complete the course. We have made use of the natural features such as woods, ravines and hills to create a realistic setting for each type of shot. At any station targets may be thrown as singles, doubles or following pairs. To further challenge shooters, targets may vary in size from standard to mini. Sporting Clays is indeed a game that truly tests a shotgun hunter's abilities.
